Liturgical
“One merits more by devoutly assisting at a Holy Mass than by distributing all of his goods to the poor and traveling all over the world on pilgrimage.” ~ St. Bernard
There are many ways to get involved in Liturgical service.
Altar Servers
|
An altar server acts in the role of lay assistant to the priest during Mass. Their perform many tasks ranging from assisting the priest with his robes to ringing the bell and carrying items.

Lectors
|
Lectors fulfill an important role at Holy Mass as proclaimers of His Word.
|
Sacristy
|
The Sacristy is the room where the priest prepares for Mass, and where vestments and other items used in worship are kept. The Sacristy Team is responsible for supporting the weekly Mass by procuring and maintaining altar decorations, offerings, holy oils, chalices, vestments and altar server’s gowns. This is an important part of our church community.
New sacristans will receive on the job training and may receive training at the Diocesan level. |
