“HE WILL LEAD YOU TO THE COMPLETE TRUTH.”
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
“He will lead you to the complete truth.” As we celebrate Most Holy Trinity Sunday, let’s thank God for loving us so much as to reveal himself to us as Father God, Saviour God and Comforter God. Yes, today let’s celebrate our God as one in three persons and three persons in one God.
How does He do it? Through His Holy Spirit, He reveals Himself as a community, a family. That is, in fact, the complete truth that the text refers to: “He (the Holy Spirit) will lead you to the complete truth.”
So God is community and invites us to share life and love in that community through our faith. Didn’t Jesus himself say “If anyone loves me, my Father will love him/her and we shall come to him/her (through the Holy Spirit) and make our home with him/her?” (John 14:23).
Do you love Jesus? Then the Most Holy Trinity lives in you. Rejoice and be glad!
