We are still in the process of trying to restart our Sunday School. The problem continues to be, that our children are not being brought regularly to Mass on Sundays. They can attend their own liturgy of the the Word during Mass, so that we don’t keep families back after Mass.
Sunday 15th November has been designated by Pope Francis as World Day of Prayer for the Poor. We do take care of some people through our SVP headed by Marina Laurie. The Legion of Mary does some ministry to the poor, and Joyann Joseph also serves the poor. Please, as we pray for the poor on that Sunday, we need to recognize them as our sisters and brothers.
The 22nd November marks the end of the liturgical year. It’s the solemnity of Christ the King. There will be a Diocesan Mass at the Cathedral on Saturday 21st November at 5:00pm. Our Mass on 22nd will be one of gratitude for the year just passed. We are being asked to look around for any pictures or articles that would remind us of the past 50 years. If you have any your would like to share, please let us know.
Blessings,
Fr. Clement Paul. Rev. Stephen Joseph.
