The Mass last Sunday was celebrated with our students in mind. Those who attended, introduced themselves to the congregation during the Intercessions and, after saying what school they were going to, they were prayed for individually. We are asking for the names of our students so that they will be prayed for by name at least once a month.
We received the good news that Seminarian Omar and Seminarian Moses will be ordained to the Diaconate on the 19th December in Trinidad. Let us continue to pray for them that they will be with us in 2021.
The Rotary Club South that supports our Reading Program donated fifty hampers to the Parish for the poor. Our Deacon, Rev. Stephen Joseph received them on our behalf. They are being distributed among the poor of the parish by the SVP and Dave Rafikh. Dave is the Coordinator of the Reading Program who made the contact with Rotary South.
There is a group in our parish called SIA (Seniors In Action). It comprises six to eight members who meet every Wednesday from 10:00am to 3:00pm for prayer, exercises and other social activities. On Wednesday last, they had their first outing, traveling to St. Francis in St. James where they were greeted by Fr. Kirt on arrival, and enjoyed the day engaged in various activities. Both Joy-Ann Joseph and Stella Newton are the Coordinators of the program with the assistance of Merris Gaskin as Treasurer.
We remind our members that protocols are in place at Rosary, so it’s safe to attend Mass on Sundays. The Lord wishes to be with you in His house so He can feed you with His word and communion.
